The Countryside Community Choir meets on Tuesday evenings for practices at the United Church of DeRuyter,  from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm.  The Christmas season practices start the first Tuesday after Labor Day and continue through the completion of Christmas concerts.   Easter season practices start the first Tuesday after New Years Day and continue through the completion of Easter concerts.  The choir is an ecumenical choir which is open to all volunteers who love to sing, love to praise the Lord, love to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ, and enjoy the fellowship of other Christians who love the same things.  There is no audition required to join the choir, if you can sing-- whether you can read music or not--the choir can use your vocal and spiritual talent.   The choir is a source of comfort and support when members are sick or hurt, when members' families are sick, injured or have loved ones who have entered into the Glorious Choir in Heaven.  The choir starts and ends each practice with a prayer, as well as praying before each concert.  If this sounds like an opportunity you would like to pursue please contact us, or just show up on Tuesday nights, we would love to have you!!!!
